As part of the Programme’s drafting, a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) has been realized, which proposes a report on the Programme’s potential significant effects on the environment at the scale of the Programme’ area. This assessment approach is regulatory.

Public consultation for the drafting of the SEA

The SEA enables environmental considerations to be integrated in the preparation and adoption of the Cooperation Programme.

The Managing Authority invites the public to submit in writing any adequately documented comments on the SEA to the relevant environmental authorities per country.

The Managing Authority of European Territorial Cooperation Programmes on behalf of the Task Force of the Transnational Cooperation Programme “Balkan-Mediterranean 2014-2020”, applying the partnership and multilevel governance principles, announces the 3rd phase of the consultation process for the drafting of the TNCP “Balkan-Mediterranean 2014-2020”.

Your answers to this questionnaire will contribute to improve the shape of the future Programme and ensure its sound implementation regarding its potential effect on the transnational area. We appreciate your contribution, which is considered valuable in order to respond effectively to challenges and opportunities in the transnational area and establish productive transnational cooperation in the new Programming Period.

The Managing Authority of European Territorial Cooperation Programmes, acting as Managing Authority of the future Transnational Programme “Balkan – Mediterranean 2014-2020”, is enriching its “List of Potential Suppliers and Services Providers” which was established according to articles 5, 6 & 7 of the Prot. Numb. 51540/ΕΥSSAP 3628 (Gov. Gazette 1856/B’/26-11-2010) Document of the Hellenic Ministry for Economy, Competitiveness and Shipping, and especially the Category B’ “Services”, Subcategories B.6 “Technical Support of the European Territorial Cooperation Programmes” and B.8 “Evaluation Services”.

The applicants may register to the “List of Potential Suppliers and Services Providers” by fulfilling the attached Applicants’ Form (Annex 2) and sending it by post to the following address no later than Monday, 17-03-2013, 14:00 (Greek time):

In particular, the Experts – Applicants shall clearly demonstrate their ability:

  • to provide technical, scientific, consultative and organizational support, to prepare,evaluate and elaborate a Strategic Environmental Assessments of co – funded Operational Programmes,
  • to operate at the participating countries of the new “Balkan – Mediterranean” Transnational Programme by established branches, liaison offices, consortia, joint ventures, previous or existing cooperation schemes with other experts and/or any other available mean to prove their special operational capacity at the eligible area.

The potential service suppliers who have been already registered to the “List of Potential Suppliers and Services Providers” are kindly recommended to resubmit their application by stressing the above mentioned capacity if existing.

Balkan - Mediterranean: The MA of ETC Programmes is elected Managing Authority of the "Balkan-Mediterranean" Programme

The Hellenic Managing Authority of European Territorial Cooperation Programmes was unanimously elected as the Managing Authority of the new Transnational Programme "Balkan-Mediterranean" of the Programming Period 2014-2020.

The new Programme will have an estimated budget of 60,000,000 euros.

  • Albania;
  • Bulgaria;
  • Cyprus;
  • The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia; and
  • Greece

will particpate in it. 

The "Balkan-Mediterranean" Programme shall promote economic, social, environmental and institutional cohesion and development in the wider area by improving socio-economic competitiveness and institutional capacity in the regions. Its thematic priorities will be connectivityenvironment and entrepreneurship.
